  • Jessica Owen is co-Editor in Chief for The Lancaster Tab, where she pitches, edits and writes articles for the site and creates engaging cover photos alongside her work
  • Jessica co-leads a team of 35 student writers, training them on photo rights, the style guide, media law and cover image production
  • In her free time, Jessica enjoys singing, baking and writing. She particularly loves writing children’s fiction and hopes to travel more while in university

Jessica joined The Lancaster Tab in 2022 during her first year of university, and quickly began to write a wide range of articles including breaking news and student lifestyle feature articles. She became Deputy Editor in May 2024, and co-Editor in Chief in January 2025.

Education

Jessica is currently a third year student studying for her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. She completed a minor in World Literature and is interested in working in the Publishing industry
