The Tab is a media brand covering youth culture and entertainment, with a global audience of millions.

Our London office is run by Gen Zs, who specialise in news, hot takes, celeb drama, lifestyle, and can spot a TikTok trend weeks before everyone else. We’re always bold, original, and voice-driven in our journalism - we don’t do boring.

We're those people who can make a meme round-up out of pretty much any story. And we’re always digging deeper: whether that’s silly drama on MAFS, exposing shameful CEOs, or unearthing what your fave politician was really like at uni. You name it, we go there.

We were founded by three students at Cambridge in 2009, as a reaction to out-of-touch student papers.

Then we launched The Tab Network ; our guerilla army of student reporters across the country who are renowned for breaking the biggest news on campus.

Now, The Tab has exploded into one of the most influential brands for young people in the UK and the US, covering everything from global politics to Netflix. In 2025 The Tab launched Reality Shrine; the juiciest, funniest, pettiest new site for the reality TV-obsessed.
