Harper Adams is the best university in Britain, according to new rankings

We beat Oxford and Cambridge by miles

A huge survey of British students has sensationally branded Harper Adams the best university in Britain.

The award, handed to us by Whatuni.com, saw Harper Adams rated 4.73 out of 5, and ranked 49 places above Oxford, and 38 above RAC Cirencester.

Victorious

Over 25,000 students were asked to complete surveys on their opinion of their uni within ten categories, including job prospects, student support and accommodation.

How we scored

Job prospects: 1st

Course and lecturers: 3rd

Student union: 2nd

Accommodation: 2nd

Facilities: 3rd

City life: Not ranked

Clubs and societies: 2nd

Student support: 1st

International: Not ranked

One current student told Whatuni: “Harper Adams could not have provided me with a better experience of university life. The staff and students are all friendly, the course is brilliant, the social life is great and the campus provides a safe and friendly environment to live in!”

Cambridge came 47th

Another wrote: “Harper Adams is a friendly, fun and professional institution with a fantastic reputation.”

Success in student rankings is nothing new for Harper Adams. Last year we came 2nd in the whatuni rankings and in 2013 we came in the top 20 in the National Student Survey’s satisfaction rankings.
