Meet Alexandra Cane: The newest Islander with an excellent Instagram and famous exes

After two new boys, Kieran and Idris, arrived in the Love Island villa last night a real stir was caused. But now I'm bored of Georgia saying she's loyal and now I want some new blood.

Frankie and Grace left the villa ages ago and now I need a new girl. Enter Alexandra Cane. She's a make-up artist from Hertfordshire with an incredible Instagram game and loads of famous exes so she will undoubtedly cause a stir. So what gossip do we have so far on the new girl? Let's discuss.

How old is Alexandra Cane?

The newest addition to the Love Island villa is 27 years old. About being one of the oldest on the show Alexandra said: "I’m a little bit older than some of the others in the villa.

"I’m always the life and soul of the party and I’m a bit of a joker. I’m just always super positive and I love life. I like to spread positivity around everybody."

What does Alexandra Cane do?

She is a make-up artist and has worked with some very famous people, including Demi Rose, who she worked with for two years. She said: “I was Demi Rose’s makeup artist. We met a few years ago and I was her makeup artist for two years.

"I’ve got a large Instagram following from working with her. As a makeup artist, I have worked in the industry for a while.”

She's also worked with Jake Quickenden from the X Factor and Made in Chelsea's Alex Mytton.

Alexandra Cane (@alexandralouise__) has over 157k Instagram followers due to her famous connections. It is literally just really fit pictures of her on holiday in nice bikinis. Worth a look if you ask me.

Who does Alexandra want to couple up with?

She's got her eyes on Josh and Dr Alex currently. So she's basically picked a very very difficult route or a very very easy one. She said: "I’d love to meet someone. I’m setting my sights on Josh. He is so my type looks-wise.

"I feel like Dr Alex could be a good match for me. I feel like we’d have some really in depth conversations, I’m knowledgeable, he is knowledgeable. Hopefully I can bring out his personality a bit. I’d like to get to know him."

When asked what she looks for in a man she said: "Be a real gentleman to me and have character, I love somebody with a personality otherwise I feel like I’m carrying the relationship."

And her turn offs include: "Someone who is over the top. I like someone who is just calm and natural."

What's Alexandra's relationship history?

As well as working with a number of famous people, Alexandra claims to have dated some too. She said: “I’ve worked with music artists and I’ve dated a few.” However, she is yet to disclose who these famous exes are.

She added: "I’m friends with most of my exes. I’m the type of person that, I like to maintain a good relationship with people, even if things have come to an end because I did care about that person once."

How does she feel about cheating?

Apparently she would never cheat on anyone but she doesn't think humans are meant to be monogamous, so wants to understand it. She said: "I read a lot about love – books from anthropologists and speakers so my mind is frazzled with my thoughts on monogamy.

"I don’t really know as humans if we are meant to be monogamous. I started reading about it and about different types of love. I don’t condone cheating and I don’t agree with it but I would do everything in my power to try and understand why cheating happens."

What was her worst ever date?

When asked what her worst date ever was, Alexandra said: "I went on one date where a guy didn’t turn up for an hour so I ordered without him, ate my food then he turned up and I left and he had to pay the bill."

What is Alexandra like?

According to Alexandra, she claims to be loud and protective of her friends. She said: “I’m quite loud which can get annoying! Also apparently I eat loudly. I’m an only child so my friends are my family.

"I’ve got a lot of good, close relationships with girls outside of the villa. With girls, I am protective, I do like to give advice. I’m going to have to tread on somebody’s toes at this stage. I want to be as respectful as I can, I know I won’t always please everybody but I hope I create some good friendships in the villa.”

When asked what she likes about herself, Alexandra said: "Probably my eyes are the most obvious thing guys would look at. I’m very grounded and fun loving, I take care of people and if you’ve got my heart I will always do my best for you."
