It just hit the fan

A bag of dog poo was used to batter a woman by a thug pet owner.

The traumatised woman who was in her 40s, was casually walking her border collie in a park when a guy’s Staffordshire bull terrier suddenly attacked her pet.

She asked the man to control his terrier, but he reacted by kicking her and then hit her with a bag of dog crap he just happened to be carrying.

The attack happened on May 3 between 9.50am and 10am in a park near Burton Street, Leicester.

Oliver Wood, of Leicestershire Police, said: “This was a particularly nasty attack which has left the victim very shaken.

“We would like to speak to anyone who was in the park at the time who might have seen anything or to anyone who may be able to identify the suspect.”

The attacker is white, between 20 and 25, skinny and around 5ft 9ins tall.

He had fair hair and was wearing a dark-coloured top, jeans and white trainers. The dog he was with was a brindle-coloured Staffordshire bull terrier.
