Wales to be battered by storms of hail and sleet

No snow in Cardiff though

Storms of hail, sleet and rain are on the way this weekend as heavy weather hits Wales.

On Saturday and Sunday Cardiff will experience thunder storms as well as sleet and hail, but there might be snow in some parts of Wales.

The Met Office have issued severe weather warnings across all of South Wales.

Scenes last year

South East Wales will be cloudy and rainy on Saturday, with thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening.

From Saturday evening, hail showers will likely spread across most of the country.

Forecasters have predicted we will wake up to sleet on Sunday morning and where there isn’t hail and sleet, there will be heavy rain.

Prepare for a weekend of typically Welsh weather.
