Newcastle University Fashion Society are holding their second annual fashion show
It’s not one to be missed
The Newcastle University Fashion Society are celebrating another successful year and hosting their annual fashion show. It promises to be even bigger and better than last years'.
The show will take place at 5pm at Newcastle Civic Centre on Sunday 12th May. It will be the perfect way to relax, unwind, and enjoy some time away from stressing about your finals. Tickets are available via the event page on Facebook, or through the NUSU website.
The theme for this years' fashion show is 'Fashion Unplugged', meaning it's a fashion show run by non fashion students, aiming to unite people of different academic backgrounds through fashion.
The show will feature a number of collections, by both local designers and also well-known high street brands, before ending with the Newcastle Fashion Society's collection. Local brands are also being supported, as the show will offer popup stores for attendees.
If last years show is anything to go by, this event is one not to be missed. The event will demonstrate that "we are not bound solely by one role, by one degree or by one interest" and so the show will not only be entertaining, but also inspiring and educational.
You do not have to be a fashion student or have a fashion background to be involved, so grab your tickets now. You can also head over to the society's Instagram @nufashionsociety to see what they're about!
