Lara is currently the Social Media Editor for the Newcastle Tab, in which she posts daily stories or memes on Instagram. As well as this, she writes pieces for The Tab Newcastle
Lara predominantly writes fun features and student advice guides for The Tab Newcastle. She also has an interest in composing breaking news stories
Lara also partakes in sport, and is captain of an intramural netball team of which she occasionally coaches. additionally, she likes to paint in her spare time

Experience

Lara began as a student contributor to The Tab Newcastle in January 2023, her first year of University. She has since gone to weekly Tab meetings and has progressed onto Social Media Editor for the Newcastle Tab, in which she avidly posts interactive stories and relatable memes

Education

Lara finished sixth form college in London and went straight to Newcastle University in 2022. She is currently doing a BA in Journalism, Media and Culture as a second year student
