Let’s face it, Rusty’s is the most underrated club in Newcastle

It’s simply the best

There comes a point when, wherever you are, your normal night out just isn't enough. Be it Soho or Flares, the atmosphere just isn’t cutting it. At 2am all you crave some cheesy ABBA remixes and endless Britney songs – and there’s only one place for it. Sure, the 90s and 00s music of Flares is great, but to end the night you really want to wear yourself out.

That’s when you hear Rusty’s calling.

The short walk may feel like forever, but you know you're home when you see the lights of the Life Centre summoning you. Who needs Digi when Rusty's welcomes you with the cheap bottles and some classic tunes.

It may look a bit unconventional on the outside (and the inside), but there’s something about Rusty’s that just feels like home. The random palm trees at either end of of the bar just add to the overall vibe. In the early hours of the morning Rusty's is in its prime. Sure, the small dance floor gets crowded, but you never have to wade through people or queue for the bar like in other clubs. Plus they don't kick you out at the end of the night, you can sit outside and finish off your perfectly poured pint!

Somehow, the endless seating areas seem appropriate. When you’re too tired to dance anymore, it’s more than acceptable to get a pint and rest you legs in one of the massive booths. If downstairs gets too full, there’s always the upstairs bar on the weekend. Plus the staff don't judge, which is IDEAL.

So you may have never heard of it, but Rusty’s is something of a hidden gem. They welcome everyone and anyone, and although it'll probably be the most expensive part of your night, it's totally worth it.
