With a score of 90 per cent, Newcastle came just ahead of Durham, which scored only 89 per cent.

Fourth place was also shared with Oxford, Cambridge, Leeds, Kent, Belfast and Bath, coming behind St Andrews and Aberystwyth who scored 94 and 92 per cent respectively, taking the two top spots.

Maybe it’s because you party harder than at any other uni in the UK that you’re all so happy.

In addition to this high ranking in student satisfaction, Newcastle is also in the top one per cent of unis in the world.
