Abbie HigginsNorthumbria police are investigating an assault that took place in Newcastle city centre – and they’re looking for three lads who may have information about the attack.
The assault happened at 3:30 am on February 16th outside university building at King’s Gate, Percy Street.
Two men were approached by a man who punched one in the face.
A scuffle then took place where more men approached and assaulted the second 21-year-old, causing him to fall to the ground, breaking his leg.
Police investigating the assaults have released images of a number of men they need to speak to – it’s thought they may have information about the incident.
These men are believed to have information about the assualt
Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 279 16/02/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
