Tab poll results: Nearly half of us are voting Labour

Hell yes we’re tough enough

Leicester is staying true to form and joining The Tab in backing Ed Miliband for Prime Minister.

A whopping 39 per cent are hoping Labour will swoop into Number 10 after tomorrow’s General Election.

The Tories are left trailing behind in second, but with 30 per cent admitting they’re voting for Cameron.

Natalie Bennett’s Greens take a respectable third place with 16 per cent share, while the Lib Dems trail in fourth with a pitiful six per cent share.

Sorry Nick.

Five per cent of Leicester voters remain undecided, and even UKIP get in on the love, with Farage’s purple party scooping up a miniscule five per cent share of the votes.

Labour were the people’s party for freshers, post-grads and fourth years, while third and second years were Team Dave.

Third year Jen Horsfall called the results “unsurprising”.

She said: “I don’t think it’s a surprising outcome, there seems to be a lot of support for Labour around the student areas of Leicester and also from opinions that I’ve seen from Leicester students on social media.

“I think a lot of students feel that the Tories haven’t really attempted to engage with students or offer them any incentive to vote for them with their policies.”
