Come Dine With Me wants contestants from Leicester

This is not a drill.

Come Dine With Me are looking for contestants from Leicester to prove their cookery skills.

Are you likely to tut at the TV when a contestant buys pastry instead of making it from scratch? Do you fancy yourself as a culinary genius? Or, do you just want to be slated by narrator Dave Lamb? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these, then this opportunity is totally for you.

Filming is set to take place over five days.

If you’re successful you’ll meet the other three contestants, get to critique their food and even get the chance to have a snoop around their houses. All with the chance of bagging yourself the £1,000 cash prize.

The only catch is you have to be over 18 years old and must be available between the 8th-12th May.
