University of Leicester named 44th most international university in the world

Don’t act like you’re not impressed

AND we’re the 18th most international university in the UK.

A recent Times Higher Education article listed the world’s best global universities in 2015, giving the University of Leicester the 44th spot out of the top 100 most international universities worldwide.

This is a jump from the 48th place that it was given last year.

It also honoured this ‘Elite without being Elitist’ university, by ranking it the 18th most international university in the UK.

The rankings were based on the “international outlook” which looks at the diversity on campus and ability of a university to attract undergraduates and postgraduates from all over the planet.

Leicester scored a fantastic 83.9 which tied with Trinity College Dublin.

Leicester University welcomes international students from all over the world and boasts to have students from more than 70 countries.

So it’s definitely no surprise that Leicester Uni is considered to be pretty high up there on an international scale since it’s considered to be in the better half of the best higher learning institutions on the planet.
