Stagecoach changes bus timetables in light of national lockdown

Bus company Stagecoach has reduced its services due to the national lockdown restrictions


Lancaster bus service provider Stagecoach has made temporary changes to bus timetables in light of the national lockdown. These came into effect on Monday 25th of January. They come as a response to Government advice on reducing nonessential travel. The new timetables feature a reduction in services across Lancaster.

The 1 and the 1A buses are now running every 20 minutes on the majority of bus routes. The buses will run from the University Underpass towards Lancaster at 18 minutes past, 38 minutes past and 58 minutes. This is then reduced to half hourly after 7 pm. The Sunday service does not go to the Underpass.

The 100 and the 2 services are being reduced from their usual fifteen minute intervals to running half hourly during the day then hourly after 7 pm. It will leave the University Underpass at 3 minutes past the hour and half hour.

The 4 and 4X services are now running hourly throughout the entire day. It will leave the University Underpass at 20 minutes past the hour. There is no Sunday service for this route in the new timetable.

The 6A service will be running half hourly. The 7, 1o, 11, 40/41 services will be running hourly.
