The Guardian ranks King’s College in the top 40 UK universities

We’ve gone up two places since last year

The Guardian’s 2018 University league tables placed King’s as the 39th best university in the UK, behind other London universities such as Imperial College (sixth), LSE (15th) and UCL (10th) – but let’s ignore that.

Last year’s league tables by The Guardian saw King’s in 42nd place, deeming the 2018 league tables as a positive improvement from its previous position.

According to The Guardian, over 89 per cent of students were satisfied with King’s teaching, only a 1.6 per cent difference from the top uni in the UK – Cambridge.

Likewise, it was only two points behind Cambridge, and ahead of many other universities, in guaranteeing that 86.8 per cent of its students had a career within six months of finishing their degrees.

Other league tables published this academic year, such as the University League Tables and the QS World University Rankings, saw King’s as one of the top 25 universities in the UK and in the world, as well as the university was ranked top five for both Dentistry and Nursing.
