Police cordon after bloody fight in South Park
‘Someone was bleeding from the back of their head’
Two men were taken off in an ambulance after a fight in South Park earlier today left one bleeding from the head.
Around 4:30pm an altercation between a group of people left at least 2 injured and needing medical attention.
Julia, a second year psychology student, said: “We saw two people go off in an ambulance and there’s loads of police.”

The incident resulted in bloodshed as Oxford student, Simon saw: “Someone was bleeding from the back of their head”
The bottom of South Park is now cornered off. It is believed that two suspects fled the scene after the incident.
Rachel, a second year psychology student, added: “One guy walked off and the other walked up towards the gate.
“It’s so sad that this happened on such a nice day.”

A police spokesperson said: “I can confirm that Thames Valley Police were called to an incident at St Clements park, Oxford, at 16.24pm today. Police are at the scene.”
