Charlotte DugdaleSaturday night saw the opening of new club, Pom Pom. Situated by the Cornerhouse in the middle of the city centre, Dirty Mondays will be re-launched for the Trent Army tonight.
We decided to test the waters on their launch night this weekend and we were not disappointed. The queue was long and slow but the neon lights, umbrella huts and hanging lanterns were so worth the wait.
The interior is like no other club in Nottingham. Pom Pom consists of a main room playing standard chart music to satisfy your Bieber needs and a smaller back room that combines R&B and house.
Maybe it was just for the launch, but the clothing standards were at a Nottingham high, so students bring your A-game and leave them Converse at home.
