The cows have returned to Leazes Park

They’re legendairy

Residents of Castle Leazes were notified with an email that the cows of Newcastle were due to return to the moor this weekend, just outside their halls of residence.

The email, which was sent by the Newcastle University Estates team, warns those who are clubbing and returning to the site in the mornings to be careful crossing the footpath and to be considerate to the cows.

They also are asking all litter to be put in the bins provided at the Ricky Road entrance to the moor or at Castle Leazes as it’s a danger to the animals if eaten, and we wouldn’t want that.

It is certainty going to liven up that walk into uni, and especially the walk home from a night out.
