Baby Reindeer’s real-life Martha is planning a ‘major TV appearance’ to share her ‘truth’

She’ll be on Piers Morgan’s show Uncensored tomorrow

The real-life Martha from Baby Reindeer has said she is planning to do a “major TV appearance” so people will “hear the truth”.

Fiona Harvey, who The Tab originally decided to keep anonymous, has now outed herself and shared her real identity in an interview with the Daily Record.“I give you my permission to name me because people have to know what is going on,” she said.

But as well as revealing she did not spend time in jail after the whole ordeal, Fiona Harvey also revealed she is planning on a “major TV appearance” to reveal her side of the story.

Fiona Harvey will be appearing on Piers Morgan’s show Uncensored tomorrow in her first on-screen interview where she says she wants to “set the record straight”.

She said: “Any semblance of a normal life I had is gone. It’s open season on me and this is my chance to speak out.”

“Would it have been better if I spoke to nobody? No, I don’t think so. That is why I have also rebutted the Laura Wray allegations on Facebook and will be doing a major TV appearance soon so everyone may as well know who I am and at least they’ll hear the truth.

“I think we can easily prove I’m not a career criminal by saying I’ve not been to prison. I have no criminal convictions of any description.”

The “real-life” Martha also shared that she planned to sue Netflix over the show, admitting that she would choose to represent herself. But would she have a case? A lawyer seems to think so, suggesting she would have grounds to sue for defamation as people found out her identity using a method known as “jigsaw identification”.

This is when you are able to identify someone by using bits of different pieces of information from two or more sources.
