Christian Union are delivering free toasties to your door TONIGHT

We heart CU

Last year Newcastle’s Christian Union brought us free tea and coffee outside the Robinson Library.

But tonight they’re back with an even better event.

The CU are aiming to get people thinking about Christianity by encouraging students to text a question about the religion to the phone number 07506075085.

Participants are also asked to provide their address and filling of choice (Ham, Cheese or Nutella).

The question will then be answered by a member of Christian Union, and a free toastie will be delivered to the address provided it’s in Jesmond or West Jesmond between 5:30PM and 8:30PM this evening.

Even more electrifying the toastie will be delivered within 20 minutes of receiving your text. They claim it’s “simple” and with “no strings attached”.

Second year Shannon McCarney told The Tab: “I am very excited about my ham and cheese toastie. I have my question at the ready. Can’t wait to press send and get a response… and a nice cheesy toastie.”

CU providing students with tea and coffee in May

Christian Union have previously spread good vibes across campus by supplying free tea and coffee outside the Robinson Library in February.

The loveable CU provided the drinks and snacks between 10am until 4pm every weekday until the end of the May exam season.
