Introducing POWR: Lancaster University launches new wellbeing tool

Students can create a personalised well-being plan to match their needs

Lancaster University has launched a new well-being tool called POWR for students to use for support.

The tool allows students to identify the areas in which they perform well and the areas that they might need more encouragement in to improve their general well-being.

It also produces personalised well-being plans to match students’ needs.

The new tool was unveiled in an email to the students, which featured a link to register and log in.

If students follow the link in the email, they can log in to the POWR page with their student accounts.

From there, students can access personalised lifestyle plans, video workouts, a ‘Live Well Blog’ with tips, articles and videos and book a consultation with the University’s student well-being programme.

Additionally, the link allows students to download the well-being app ‘Benekit’ which ‘offers an easy-to-answer assessment that will provide you with your well-being score.’

The University is also offering a webinar for students to learn more about the tool and how to use it at noon on Wednesday 16th February.
