Lancaster University drops three places in university league tables
The university is now 11th after dropping down from 8th place
The Complete University Guide’s University League Table 2022 has revealed that Lancaster University has dropped three places from 8th to 11th.
The table shows that Lancaster’s overall score is 84 per cent, with their entry standards at 69 per cent, student satisfaction at 81 per cent, research quality at 79 per cent, and graduate prospects at 78 per cent.
Many individual subjects have also gone down from their former high ranking, top three places to lower positions, for example, the Creative Writing course, which now sits at 6th place after being a firm 2nd in the former tables.
Students can search for individual course statistics on the Subject League Tables.
The universities that have overtaken Lancaster in the recent tables include University College London (8th place) and Warwick University (10th place).
This year’s league table has seen many other top 10 universities take a dip in their positions, such as University of Cambridge (2nd), University of St. Andrews (4th), Imperial College London (6th), and Loughborough University (7th) – all of which have been moved down one place.
