The Big Lunch is a company that aims to bring neighbours together to make friendlier communities. They researched the friendliest places in the UK.

Wales was the fourth friendliest region, beating Scotland which came seventh and London which came ninth.

Despite being a city, Cardiff didn’t enter the Top 10 Friendliest cities, but was seventh when it came to the friendliest counties.

The friendliness of each region or county was determined by how many neighbours were friends and how well connected the area was.
