
Train services out of Cardiff this evening cancelled
Delays turned into cancellations
Due to a major disruption on the Cardiff Central and Valley Lines train services have been cancelled. Long delays of 30 minutes and further disruptions are expected to continue late into the night. This is due to a points failure at Cardiff Central train station.
Tickets are now being accepted from Cardiff Bus services in the Cardiff and Penarth areas however the operator has also warned of delays due to congestion. A shuttle service is being run between Heath Low Level and Coryton. Passengers are being told to board Bargoed or Rhymney services and change at Heath for the shuttle service stations between Heath Level and Coryton.
