Thames Valley Police release e-fits of Summertown rape suspects

The police are still asking for any information on the two suspects


Thames Valley Police have today released the digital mock ups of the two men suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl in Summertown less than two weeks ago.

Officers are still investigating the incident which happened two weeks ago on Wednesday, where a girl was pulled into a car by two men and sexually assaulted around the Summertown area. The first is described as being white, mid twenties, 6ft tall and average build, while the other is in his late teens, with a slightly muscular and dark hair. E-fits of two men have been released to the public in the hope it will help identify the men.

Deputy Superintendent Charles Ward said: “We continue to investigate this incident, and are now able to release e-fits of two men. We would ask anyone who recognises the offenders to contact 101 quoting the reference 1613 (28/9).”

“A team of specially trained officers continues to support the victim and we are working to gather further information surrounding the incident.”

There have been calls for increased safety precaution in the area after the assault, but Thames Valley Police are assuring residents that they are doing everything they can to make the area safe for everyone.
