Bethany O'BrienWith Halloween already a distant memory, the holiday season has officially started as a huge 60ft tall and 1.8 tonne tree arrived in Old Market Square on Thursday.
The Nottingham Winter Wonderland is also on its way, making some exciting new changes this year including a bar completely made of ice and a brand spanking new ice rink.
Here are the festive dates you need to know:
Christmas lights switch on: Thursday November 24th starting from 5:30pm
Handmade Nottingham Winter Market at the Malt Cross: Sunday 13th November
Christmas Market: Saturday 19th November – Saturday 24th December open 10am-6pm
Market Square festive stalls, Ice Rink and Bars: Saturday 19th November – Sunday 8th January
Reindeers in Bolero Square: Wednesday 21st December – 23rd
