This news means that the students from Sussex and Brighton are left being unable to work the match at the Amex this Saturday.

People who are employed at the Amex, received this email this morning:

The match played this Saturday at the Amex was meant to be Brighton against Arsenal, however, following on from recent news that the manager of Arsenal has tested positive for coronavirus and professional matches have been cancelled-  students are left unable to work.

One student, who works at the Amex as a steward, exclusively told The Sussex Tab: “I’m somewhat relieved because of the worry over public gatherings etc, and obviously it’s within everyone’s best interest to call off the match, but it’s a shame to lose out on the money we would have earned. I work two jobs in Brighton and I’m worried that I might stop earning money, especially if more games are cancelled.”
