WHAT'should be'SOC? One Night Stand Society

One Night Stand Society (ONSSOC) is Southampton’s newest and most exclusive group of people. Not yet affiliated, this dedicated bunch get together and head out to Jesters (mainly) with one aim: to get laid. We had a chat with one of the ringleaders so we could get the low down on this exclusive group for you.

1) So, what exactly does your society do? Give us a quick summary

ONSSOC is Soton’s most modern society embracing the free spirit involved in university life without judgement. The group is designed for students who aren’t afraid to admit that sleeping around is a key part of first year, as well as just plain old sluts. Socials are designed to get us laid and we have debriefs regarding everyone’s sexual experiences and monthly trips to Royal Hants for STD screenings.

They even have t-shirts!

2) What’s the best thing about your society?

Probably the sex…

3) What’s the most fun you’ve had and why?

We have fun every day, but a few favourite moments were setting off the fire extinguisher in halls and racking up a £400 fine, getting with 7 members of the swim team in a single night, fortnightly dogging on the common and of course the legendary ONSSOC threesomes!

4) Does your society have any weird traditions or stories?

Our weird tradition is that we play Akon and The Lonely Island’s I Just Had Sex the morning after every social in honour of members who were successful. There are LOADS of stories, but our best two are: one member promising a virgin that her ‘flower’ was important to him too, penetrating her then giving her a fake name and number before leaving. Another member grinded on a girl in Sobar for 3 hours and broke his penis, he was too drunk to realise and went to A&E in the morning, it took weeks to heal.

5) What are you doing at the moment?

Organising MNJ (Monday Night Jesters) for our return after Easter, where we’ll be recruiting new members!
