It’s time! Vote in the FINAL round of Glasgow’s fittest sports team

Over the past few weeks everyone has voted in each round of Glasgow’s fittest sports team and now the winner of each round has moved into the final. There are four fit teams to choose from; Glasgow Student Dance Company, Glasgow University Athletics, Glasgow University Hockey and Glasgow University Surf Riders.

So have a look through each time, and vote for the team you want to win at the bottom.

Good luck to all the teams! Whatever happens, you’re all still fit.

Glasgow Student Dance Company

Speaking to the Glasgow Tab, a member of the Student Dance Company said “We are very buzzing to get this far, this is genuinely a bigger and more exciting achievement than winning the 2020 SRC society of the year award.” When asked what quality they think sets them apart from other teams they said We can do the splits. Also our committee performed the WAP dance in Bute Hall during freshers and if that doesn’t earn us the title of fittest sports team we don’t know what will.”

Glasgow University Athletics

Speaking to the Glasgow Tab, a member of Glasgow Athletics said “We honestly didn’t expect this with Glasgow’s least eligible bachelor in the team.” When asked what quality the club members have that sets them apart from other teams a member answered “We have stamina in more ways than one”

Glasgow University Hockey

Speaking to the Glasgow Tab, when asked how they felt about getting this far in the competition, a member of the hockey team said “Not surprised” When asked what quality sets them apart from other teams they said “Bet they like missionary”

Glasgow University Surf Riders

When asked how they feel about getting far in the competition, a member of the surf team said “Its about damn time”. A quality that sets them apart from the other teams is that they are “sponsored by a condom brand.”
