BNOC of the Year 2016: Round three

The third round is ridiculously competitive

| UPDATED

This time we have future lawyers to librarians, and everything in between.

GUSA, GUU and Viper are all represented in this heat, which is sure to be close.

Happy voting!

Sarah Nicol

Sarah Nicol, the well known ‘Viper PR Queen’, is always seen in the groovy night club or roaming the streets of the West End encouraging passers by to join the party.

Her ego ‘Narah Sicol’ makes an appearance on a night out after a few beverages have entered her gullet. She never fails to entertain, especially when showcasing her 10/10 dance moves on the Dfloor

Ronan McCann

What else is there to say about Ronan. If you don’t know him are you truly ‘UNAY’ enough? If he’s not seen smashing out the reps in the gym, he’s commonly seen in the beer bar with more pints than a blood donor event.

As a former GUSA helper and Murano flatmare of previous winner David Guthrie, Ronan believes he deserves a shot at the prestigious crown of Glasgow’s BNOC.

Ashley Neilson

This second year Law student Ashley Neilson is a prominent member of the Glasgow Uni Law Society. He was second year rep this year, along with myself, and he also goes out with the new President of the Law Society, Alasdair McCrone.

He was in the play “Posh” that STAG put on which is fitting since he is the poshest person Law knows.

He’s been riding with the title of QBNOC (quite big) for a while now, very undeservingly, since he is a BNOC through and through.

Lucy

Lucy, aka Bone, has been slaying GU campus from the old HIVE into the new and knows a thing or two. Former board member of GUU and Queen of the LADbraries committee, Lucy is rarely spotted in groups of less than 30 enamoured fans.

Although never rising before noon (most likely because she’s been chinning a crate of reef the night before in the beer bar), Bone is a true woman of the people with a maters in equality and human rights. She’s so popular even her cat Glen has his own Facebook profile.

As well as moonlighting as a Leona Lewis, One-man Westlife and Alexandra Burke tribute act, her finely honed journalism skills have got her offers from Conde Naste, Vogue and Time magazine. This revered, robed campus royalty is in it to win it.

Alex Martin

The Yorkshire lass with a whole lot of sass! GUUs biggest BNOC. Well known for being a PR, PSM and Beer Bar bell ringer.

She’s fit, she’s flirty, she may not have double Fs but she’ll get you a cheap pint of fun. This girls an all-rounder, she’s got the looks, she’s got the banter and it just works.

Often found on the Clubbers of the Week, like a true GUU loyal, she’d never miss a Thursday or even Saturday night Hive! Most likely to be near a boy in tweed and chinos and pulling out all the moves on the Viper dance floor, this girl has almost everything, all she needs now is her crown!
