A man has been stabbed on City Road
The incident occurred at approximately 2.40pm
South Wales Police service were called to City Road earlier this afternoon following reports that a man had been stabbed.
The area currently cordoned off is Northcote Street between City Road and Richmond Road.
Officers called to City Road #Roath, approx 2.40pm to report of stabbing. Man taken to University Hospital of Wales with non-life-threatening injuries.

A police spokeswoman told Wales Online that a man had been taken to University Hospital with non-lethal injuries.
Reid, a Cardiff graduate that works on City Road, told The Cardiff Tab a woman had entered his shop covered in blood from trying to help the victim stop the bleeding. He said: "A customer of our shop came in with blood all over her hand, she'd been helping him stop the bleeding. He was in the ambulance by the time I looked up."
South Wales Police are asking anyone with information to ring them on 101 and quote the reference number 421200.
