BBC Music has revealed that a huge festival is coming to Swansea this summer. The festival is called 'The Biggest Weekend' and it's not an over-exaggeration to say this is a big deal.

Two of the acts for the weekend have already been announced, Ed Sheeran will headline the Saturday and Taylor Swift on the Sunday.

The BBC are thought to have launched this massive festival as a response to the lack of Glasto this year.

Much like Glastonbury this festival will be covered on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Four, as well as all the footage being available to watch on iPlayer.

Situated in Swansea's Singleton Park, the festival will be held over two days in May, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.

The Biggest Weekend is being held over four different locations across the UK, also taking place in Coventry, Perth and Belfast.

Tickets for the Swansea event go on sale on February 12th at 7.45 AM and cost £18 (plus booking fee) through Ticketmaster.
