Tucker on Salisbury Road – Tab Loves

If you’re after a nice chilled out afternoon after a day of lectures, with a cuppa and a good vibe, head to Tucker on Salisbury Road. The Tab spent an afternoon at Tucker, and we loved it.

A pot of tea is £1.75, (which you can stretch to two cups) – absolutely ideal. A delicious fish finger bap (any student’s dream) is a cheeky £3.45 plus you can order their homemade lasagne for £4.50. The Tab loves!

With free wi-fi and very trendy decor, it’s a great place for a gossip, or for a bite to eat. (They’re even licensed… So you could treat yourself to a cheeky glass of wine.) Plus, it’s only a two minute walk from the Union.

The Tab asked Cardiff Uni student Christian what he thought of Tucker…

“The food was delicious, great atmosphere and really good service. Really handy location to pop in to before lectures, or in between for a bit of lunch.”

The Tab thinks Tucker is definitely worth a visit. We also love that they have Twitter – adding to their trendy credentials.
