John’s have narrowly beaten a determined Jesus outfit, winning a closely-contested encounter 26-22.

Jesus rallied and creative play from their backs saw them score two tries in quick succession to take the score to 26-22.

John’s withstood a formidable wave of pressure from Jesus in the final few minutes, holding out for their seventh win of the season.

Elsewhere Girton shocked Trinity 29-12.
