Brookes is in the top 150 new unis in the world

we’re in the ‘elite one percent of global universities’

Oxford Brookes has been ranked as one of the best unis in the world that are less than 50 years old, according to the Times Higher Education.

It’s a proud day for Brookes students, as we managed to climb onto the list, putting us as one of the top in the world.

Even with Wheatley Campus and the U1 bus service working against us, we still managed to bag ourselves a place in the ‘elite one percent of global universities’.

Factors considered to get us the place was the international outlook of the uni, research, learning environment and innovation.

Phil Baty, the Times Higher Education Editor said: “The UK is the most-represented country in this year’s list of the world’s best young universities, boasting an impressive 25 institutions in the top 150.

“The 150 Under 50 ranking is led by young, exciting and dynamic institutions”

Not too bad for a poly.
