Wheatley campus teaching facilities will be axed completely starting next year

Good riddance

In a plot twist M. Night Shyamalan would be jealous of, Wheatley Campus, the winner of the Brookes Worst Halls competition, will be scrapped from next year.

In a statement made earlier today Vice Chancellor Janet Beer confirmed that the university would be moving the entirety of its teaching facilities to Headington.

Wheatley students inbound

Beer said she was confident in the ten year plan, which involves pulling its schools of Business and Technology out of Wheatley.

But tragically not all students will be free from Wheatley’s ghastly presence; student accommodation is expected to stay.

SU President Andrew Pederson called the changes a “positive move” saying: “Historically Wheatley campus has always under performed in student satisfaction data, compared to other Brookes campuses.

“It’s important to recognise that students who are yet to join Brookes will spend there entire time as students at Wheatley due to timescale the university is looking at.”
