Brookes Radio prepare for annual charity broadcast
The airwaves will be manned for 24 hours this weekend.
Elissa BlankleyThe third annual 24 hour broadcast will be taking place from midday on Saturday 26th to midday on Sunday 27th.
Fresh from their win at the society awards Brookes Radio are hoping for a repeat of last year’s success where they raised over £500 for the Gatehouse Homeless Shelter. This year they’re supporting One-Eighty Oxford who are a charity helping adults and young people get back into education.
Hosts Paris and Phoebe will be bringing you features such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, late-night reporting from Cowley Road as well as new musical and comedic talent. They’ll be helped along the way by special guests, willing volunteers and caffeine!
