The best events you won’t want to miss this October in Aberdeen

October has come around with a cold snap in the air, welcoming with it Puffa jackets of every colour, overpriced pumpkin spiced lattes and offensive Halloween costumes. However it’s not all doom and gloom as Aberdeen has more to offer than just pumpkin carving.

Aberdeen Comedy Festival

Move over Edinburgh, from the 4th to the 13th of October Aberdeen will be hosting its very own comedy festival including Fringe favourites, up & coming comedians and even Tom Allen (you know that bald, really posh one on 8 Out Of Ten Cats). With some free performances, you'd be having a laugh not to go… or to go!

Belmont Filmhouse

Belmont Filmhouse has teamed up with the comedy festival to bring you all your favourite films back to the big screen. Chickflick classics include Spice World and Bridesmaids.
