Two banned from Institute amid record number of fights

Staff say it wasn’t worth the hassle

Two rowdy students were banned from Aberdeen’s biggest club during the St Andrew’s Ball after party.

The first was banned for assaulting a member of staff who was off-duty.

The second was thrown out and banned when he continued to abuse and be aggressive towards those working.

Even McDonalds got rowdy

Speaking to The Tab an Institute staff member said: “There were more fights between supposed friends in one night than the last four weeks combined.

“Two people were banned. There were lots of small fights and first years being cocky. It’s not worth the hassle for what it’s worth.

“There were nearly 60 hipflasks confiscated and guys being plain rude to managers.”

Missing a hipflask? When you pick it up you might want to say sorry.
