Brighton is hosting a virtual Pride celebration this weekend
Musicians, drag performers and MPs are all on the line-up
After disappointment over the cancellation of the south coast’s most colourful festival this year, Brighton and Hove Pride have organised an entirely online schedule of events to replace the famous weekend.
Entitled ‘We Are FABULOSO’, the shows will be streamed via their YouTube channel and will commemorate 30 years of Pride celebrations in Brighton.
The live streams are starting at 7pm on Friday the 31st of July and will continue until 11pm on Sunday the 2nd. The line-up includes talks from local influential figures, footage from archived parades and a whole host of DJs and musicians.
The event also acts as the main fundraising opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community, supported by The Brighton Rainbow Fund, and viewers are encouraged to donate generously to help with this fundraising mission.
More information can be found on their website.
