Your guide to St Patrick’s Day in Brighton

For Plastic Paddies in search of the best pint of Guinness in town

It's nearly that time of year again when everyone scrambles to claim a single drop of Irish blood in their veins as an excuse to get ridiculously pissed.

St Patrick's Day! The annual day of drinking enjoyed by both non-Irish folk as well as those, like me, blessed with Irish roots and a name with more silent letters than audible to prove it.

And for those who cannot make it to the homeland this year and are left in Brighton for the big day, here is a list of what is on in town.

St Patrick's Festival and Street Parties

Hosted by Irish pub The Fiddler's Elbow, a festival is being held over the St Patrick's weekend, including four days of live music as well as a two-day street party across the 16th and 17th.
