It's time to wack out your union jack flags and finally use the communal iron that's been gathering dust in your kitchen cupboard – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are coming to Brighton.

On Wednesday 3rd October, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make their first offical joint trip to the county and will visit Brighton's Royal Pavilion. One of the nation's most loved couples will be greeted in Brighton and Hove by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex Peter Field before being met with a civic line-up including Brighton and Hove's Mayor, Dee Simson, at the Royal Pavilion.

Their Royal Highnesses will learn about the history of the builiding and the impact it had on the social development of Brighton during the 18th century, as well as tour some of the Royal Pavilion's rooms.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will then visit Survivors' Network which is a charity that offers support to survivors of sexual abuse and violence in Sussex.

Finally, the couple will stop in Peacehaven to visit JOFF Youth Centre, a community hub that offers a range of activites and a music practice room.

Whether you just want to see the royal couple in the flesh, ask Meghan Markle what she thinks about being likened to Lewes Court Phase 1 or proclaim your undying love for Prince Harry; well-wishers of every kind are encouraged to welcome the pair to Brighton as they arrive at the Royal Pavilion.
