The University of Sussex Graduation Ball is taking place on June 3rd

For some students, the end of your life at Sussex University is fast approaching and there really is only one place to celebrate with all your friends, the Graduation Ball. Taking place on Saturday 3rd June from 8pm to 3am in the Grand Brighton Hotel, you will feel no less than sophisticated and top class, especially in your formal ball attire, as you dance and party the night away.

The ball is the ultimate way to celebrate your university experience and a good closing chapter before you continue onwards into life. It exudes style, class, and elegance.  Whilst you may not be able to turn up in your pyjamas (as we all know that after any assessment deadline, we just want to get straight into bed), you can have just as much fun in your ball gown or formal suit, saying ‘cheers’ to the future.

Hosted by Brighton Rox and USSU, months of meticulous and pedantic planning have been undertaken to make this one of the best years yet. They appear to have taken on quite a retro theme for Ball, and this is evident in the content expected for the evening, including:

• DJ and live band
• Photo booth with props and unlimited prints
• Photographer
• Retro pick and mix stall
• Retro candy floss stall
• Retro popcorn stall
• Retro hot dog stall
• Selection of hot and cold canapés (Mini Fish & Chips/Pizza’s)
• Vegetarian food options are also available 
• Champagne Reception
• Casino Tables

The Union is also inviting anyone who has any suggestions for the ball to drop any of the organisers a message.

The event is open to the whole year, and boyfriends/girlfriends/wives/husbands are also welcomed to celebrate with you.
