Brighton named one of the top 10 upcoming destinations in the world

Seriously

Brighton has been lauded as one of the top ten upcoming holiday destinations in 2016 by TripAdvisor.

Our seaside city was named sixth in the world and third in Europe in the annual TripAdvisor awards that identify places growing in popularity according to feedback from millions of travellers.

Here’s what they had to say about Brighton: “Home to two piers, a pavilion and plenty of other attractions, this quirky city on the UK’s south coast is a popular destination all year around with Brits and tourists alike.

“The pebbled beach, Brighton Pier’s amusement arcade and the Royal Pavilion are the main sights.”

Cllr Warren Morgan, leader of Brighton and Hove City Council said: “I am delighted, but not surprised, that Brighton and Hove is recognised among the best in world by travellers from the UK and overseas.

“The award highlights the fantastic work by thousands across the city who work in tourism, culture, restaurants and entertainment to deliver an excellent service to the 11 million plus visitors who come here each year.”

TripAdvisor is normally questionable with their suspect reviews of complete shitholes but this is beyond madness.
