Bean UrquhartFollowing some research into average rent prices for students, courtesy of propillo.com, it turns out Southampton is the 10th most expensive city for students to live in, just after Portswood and Sussex.
I'm sure you're all as shocked as I was to hear this, especially those of you living in Portswood – I mean, I love it, but the place is a shithole.
Even so, I guess this explains why so many Southampton students come from Berks, Bucks and Surrey – you need to be rich to afford it!
