The incident involved two cars and it is believed a number of occupants had to be cut out of their vehicles. A silver Skoda has now been removed from the scene of the accident.
5-6 police cars, 1 fire engine and 2 ambulances were all present.
There is heavy congestion in the area due to the closure of Bevois Hill from Forster to Lodge Road as well as the Eastbound side of the road connecting Portswood Road and Thomas Lewis Way. This is also causing congestion on Thomas Lewis Way heading southbound.
Due to accident on Lodge Road B*2, 16 and Unilink U6 are being diverted, we apologise for any inconvenience, diversion details to follow…
