A Newcastle third year has set up a Go Fund Me page so he can go on the Easter ski trip

A third year has set up a Go Fund Me page for her mate to try and get him on the uni ski trip.

Rachel started the "Get Zach Thomas to the ski trip" Go Fund Me page to try and raise £400 for Zach to be able to go skiing.

According to Rachel, Zach, who is also a Newcastle third year, desperately wants to go on the trip, but is too skint to currently pay for it. She said: "Zach has always wished of attending the 2018 ski trip to Les Deux Alpes, but unfortunately his current financial situation means he can not afford to go."

The page also says: "He already spent the summer sat at home watching all his good friends adventure off together, crying at home with no pennies to his name.

"If you have love in your heart or a spare £10 in your bank account, it is really important that you donate to this worthy cause. Get ZTFAME to the alps. Donate below x."

Zach told The Tab Newcastle: "It means so much to me to be able to get on this ski trip. I finish uni this year and without your help not only will I feel left out, but sad."

He's currently doing well with £15 of the target raised (£5 was donated by himself), so come on lads, help a lad out and get him to the ski trip.
