Wagner And Peaches To Hit Cindies
X Factor star Wagner and celeb Peaches Geldof are the latest stars to hit Cambridge, with both appearing in Cindies this week.
Celebrity daughter Peaches Geldof and X Factor star Wagner are the latest big names to be hitting the nightspots of Cambridge.
Peaches Geldof will be bringing the house down with a DJ set on Saturday in Cindies as part of the ‘Propaganda’ night which attracts 25,000 revellers a week and claims to be the UK’s biggest club night.
Bob’s daughter is set to go down well
But before that, keen punters will also be able to catch eccentric Brazilian Wagner’s dulcet tones this Tuesday in the same venue. The 55-year old is set to perform three X Factor classics, and spend the night posing for photos with his fans.
As well as his crazy performances, Wagner is notorious for his boozy rant directed towards national treasure Cheryl Cole, in which he called the 28-year old Geordie a “council estate girl who got lucky.”
What an absolute treat
Simon Burdus, head honcho of Big Fish Ents, is looking forward to the nights. He told The Tab: “Jelly Baby has always been a bit tongue in cheek and we just want people to come and have a good time and enjoy themselves.
“I wouldn’t go out and buy a single by Wagner but I’d certainly go to a club to meet him and to see him sing and play his bongos.”
But Maria Burova, a third year medic at John’s, was less than enamoured with the plans, claiming that she has “so many better things to do.”
The Tab LOVE reality stars
This latest spate of celebrity appearances come just a week after the cast of hit reality show Made in Chelsea partied in Cindies after their debate with the Footlights in the Cambridge Union, delighting the show’s avid followers.
