All Lives Matter protesters were filmed binning Black Lives Matter posters by the Colston Statue.

As protesters threw the signs away, one was overheard saying we’re “clearing up the rubbish” and “cleaning our streets”. Once all the posters had been binned, protesters erupted into a round of applause.

Black Lives Matter counter-demonstrators were also chased away from the scene. People can be heard jeering, chanting “England” and “cheerio” as well as making obscene gestures.

Video footage has also emerged of protesters yelling “All Lives Matter” and “they treat us like far right, we’re acting like far right”. Police estimate there are around 300 people at the scene.

There is a huge police presence at the scene.
